An important three years for Social Security

Add to that recent statistics showing that 1,430 Islanders are still out of work, an ageing population which will require increased pension funds and an interim population policy which has set a seemingly optimistic immigration target of 325, and it is easy to see why new Social Security Minister Susie Pinel would feel a certain amount of pressure as she steps up to the Council of Ministers table after three years working as Assistant Minster in the department.
