‘Cut red tape to support small firms’

The Chamber is going to put exemptions from bureaucracy for small businesses high its priority list for the year ahead and will be seeking political support.

Speaking at the monthly Chamber lunch at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Mr Filleul said that it was wrong to apply the same regulatory burden to all companies irrespective of their size and highlighted that a family-run shop needs to apply the same employment processes as a major bank.
