Entries ranged from seasonal flowers and plants to cakes and biscuits and the winner of the overall best in show prize was Carole Mourant’s container of narcissus called minnow, with Blanka Schai’s clivia plant winning reserve best in show.
Pam Laurens, the secretary of the RJAHS’s horticultural department, said: ‘It was a very successful weekend and a magnificent show – one of the best spring shows we have had since they started ten years ago.’
