For the first time this year, festival-goers were given the option of camping at the site on the border of St Helier and Trinity for the duration of the two-day event.
The announcement in June that 2,000 tickets would be available for campers was trumpeted as ‘the biggest development in the festival’s ten-year history’.
But Jersey Live has now been forced to abandon its plans after fewer people than expected bought a £30 weekend camping pass.
