Crowning their careers

In this very special Diamond Jubilee year, former Senator Jean Le Maistre, who has been volunteering to help people at home and abroad for 50 years, John Hodge, manager of the Shelter Trust homeless charity, and Dawn Woodhouse, the founder of Holidays for Heroes Jersey, have all been made MBEs.

The Bailiff, Michael Birt, whose role reflects the unique relationship between Jersey and the Crown, has been knighted.
