JERSEY Scottish FC last night booked a Wheway Cup semi-final place against Grouville in February following a 3-0 victory against Jersey Wanderers at Les Quennevais.
Scottish extended their unbeaten run to eight matches with their seventh victory courtesy of a brace of goals from Paul Aitken and a first of the season for Lee Burns.
The result delighted Scottish manager Pat Brennan who also heaped praise on his youthful opponents. Brennan said: ‘It was a wild night and not conducive for good football but both teams tried extremely hard. Wanderers have had a couple of bad results recently but they battled throughout and at times they played some good football.
