Throughout 2016 the Wills and Probate Department at the law firm will be donating ten per cent of its will-writing fees to the Jersey branch of Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Le Gallais & Luce have had an affinity with the Jersey branch of Guide Dogs for the Blind dating back to 1938, when the charity’s first fundraising event, a golf competition held at the Royal Jersey Golf Club, was won by Hedley Luce, solicitor and one of the founding partners of the firm.
In recent years a number of their clients have donated money to the charity in their wills, and as a result the department has come to learn a great deal about the work the charity undertakes on behalf of Islanders with visual impairments.
