Drivers, customer service workers, engineers and managers all feature in LibertyBus’ new calendar, launched to support the sight-impairment organisation EYECAN.
Lisa Walker, marketing and communications manager for LibertyBus, worked alongside driver Johnathan Lozach, who took the photos, to produce the calendar.
‘Jonathan and I had a clear vision of what we wanted to achieve and although we needed to use a great deal of persuasion to get some of our models on-board, the results are amazing,’ she said.
‘We wanted to “reveal” the people behind the bus service and we hope the calendar will bring a smile to everyone’s face.’
Meanwhile, Kevin Hart, director of LibertyBus, said: ‘Staff from across the business gave up their spare time to come together and make this calendar happen. We have seen some true hidden talents from our models and we had a lot of fun along the way.’
All proceeds from the calendars, which cost £5 each, are being donated to EYECAN – a charity chosen by LibertyBus staff.
Jane Vincent, the charity’s operations director, said that they were honoured to have been chosen.
‘We are delighted that the staff at LibertyBus have chosen EYECAN to receive the proceeds of this fantastic, fun initiative. Sales of the calendar will help to raise awareness of the support the charity provides to sight-impaired Islanders and we are sure it will be a sell out.’
The calendars are available from Liberation Station, EYECAN’s Westlea Centre and Onespecs Opticians.
