Jocelyn Gourvennec has left his role as head coach of Bordeaux, the Ligue 1 club have announced.
Gourvennec, who joined the club from Guingamp in 2016, departs following Tuesday’s 2-0 home defeat to Caen.
The club said in a statement on their official Twitter feed: “As of this day, Jocelyn Gourvennec will no longer be the responsibility of coach of the professional team.

Les Girondins are currently 13th in the Ligue 1 standings and have one win from their last six league games.
