THE Rock Accounting Open returns for its fourth year on Thursday 25 June, set to take place at La Moye Golf Club for the first time.
The Jersey Golf order of merit event is a 36-hole scratch competition open to players across the island with a handicap index of 16.0 or below.
The tournament offers a rare opportunity for men, women, seniors, juniors and PGA professionals to compete against one another in the same field.
With a strong lineup already confirmed, organisers say fewer than 15 spaces remain available for this year’s competition.

The event has been developed over the past decade by PGA fellow professional and organiser Alex Mollin (right), evolving from its origins as the PGA Channel Island Challenge into one of the island’s leading amateur golf events.
Sponsorship from Rock Accounting over the Past four years has helped the competition continue to grow in stature and popularity.
Rock accounting managing director Duncan Ellis, who spent seven years in South Africa as a PGA professional, said supporting the event was a natural fit for the company.
“This tournament is unique because it brings together golfers of all ages and abilities in the same competitive environment,” he said.
“As someone with a PGA background, it is rewarding to help provide opportunities for local players to test themselves at a high level.
“We are delighted to support the event for a fourth year and look forward to another fantastic day of golf at La Moye.”
Alex Mollin said the competition’s continued growth highlighted the strength of golf on the island.
She added: “This popular event continues to grow each year and is a fantastic opportunity for the island’s best players to challenge themselves in this distinctive format.
“Rock Accounting has been an incredible sponsor and its generous support has been crucial to the ongoing success of the event.
“Duncan Ellis is a keen supporter of local sport and we are extremely grateful for the company’s continued backing.”
The tournament forms part of Jersey Golf’s summer schedule and is expected to attract many of the Island’s leading players.
