A PROGRAMME of direct flights between Jersey and Tenerife operated by airBaltic has commenced in a new partnership between the European airline and C. I. Travel Group.
A weekly rotation is being operated during half term, as well as from the Christmas period until the end of February and over the Easter school holidays.
The service is using Airbus A220-300s, which are equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi.
C. I. Travel Group director Alexander Devlin said: “For Jersey residents, who have long appreciated the convenience of direct flights, we are confident that this partnership with airBaltic will further enhance the high standards of service and comfort that FlyDirect clients have come to expect.”
He continued: “With the added benefit of airBaltic’s free Starlink Wi-Fi, you can stream and watch your favourite movies at 35,000 feet.
“The A220-300’s five-seat rows offer wider seats than the six-seat configuration found on many other aircraft.
“Direct flights also reduce the cost and time involved in reaching your destination, without the added risk of missing a connection.”
