ISLANDERS buying Christmas Lottery tickets in bulk can claim three free tickets for every 50 purchased without having to order online, organisers have confirmed.
The clarification follows concerns that people unable to use the online service would miss out on the offer.
A spokesperson for the Channel Islands Christmas Lottery said customers could call Fox Trading’s office sales team on 01534 511000 to order tickets for collection from its Rue des Prés showroom, or visit without ordering ahead.
Both options qualify for the bulk-buying offer, but payment at the showroom is by card only.
Tickets for the 2026 draw went on sale earlier this month, with a minimum top prize of £300,000, which will increase as sales grow. The lottery offers 65 cash prizes and £500,000 worth of instant-win prizes.
Online sales were introduced last year ahead of the lottery’s 50th anniversary, allowing customers to order physical tickets for syndicates and bulk purchases. Free delivery is available for online orders.
Tickets are also available at nearly 80 stores across Jersey, including Morrisons, the Co-op and Alliance, although the bulk-buying offer does not apply at these outlets.
The lottery kiosk in St Helier has closed as part of the Broad Street pedestrian scheme.
A lottery spokesperson said: “All proceeds from ticket sales in Jersey are distributed to local charities through the Jersey Community Foundation, Association of Jersey Charities and Jersey Sport, with the lottery having raised millions of pounds for good causes over the years.”
The draw will take place in Guernsey on Thursday 17 December from 6pm, with winning numbers broadcast live on Channel 103 in Jersey.
