A 33-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of grave and criminal assault after a glass was thrown outside the Shipwright Pub on Monday night.

Police are appealing for information following the incident, which took place on Monday 25 August 2025 on Pierson Road in St Helier.

A disturbance broke out on the terrace area of the pub, according to the police appeal.

A glass was allegedly thrown, and a man suffered head injuries requiring hospital treatment as a result.

Police are asking witnesses to come forward to aid the investigation, which is already underway.
