POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an incident last weekend when a 4×4 struck a wall before driving away.
The vehicle, a silver Mitsubishi, was reported to have been seen driving along Rue du Fort at around 7.30pm on Sunday 13 July before turning at the traffic lights onto St Clement’s Road, where it lost control and hit the wall on the left-hand side.
Police said the male driver then stopped the vehicle, checked the damage, then got back in and continued driving up the road.
He is described as wearing a dark top and possibly shorts, with short dark hair.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has information, to come forward.
