2025 will see the 11th year of 'Prosperity Day'

CORPORATE rivals will be going pedal-to-pedal once again in a virtual cycling fundraiser.

Tech consultant firm Prosperity 24/7 have launched the eleventh Prosperity Day, which pits up to 18 corporate teams against each other in a virtual cycling race, while raising money for good causes.

This year, funds raised will be in dual support of Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey and Kezia’s Fund, which supports youth mental-health projects in the Island.

Since its launch, the annual event has raised almost £185,000 and will once again take place at the firm’s Waterfront headquarters on Friday 27 June.

Three cyclists from each team will use Wahoo KICKR bikes to gain race day points, which are added to fundraising totals, with the combined scores determining who gets to the podium.

The leaderboard can also be kick-started by a tiered registration fee, with bronze, silver and gold donation amounts available for each participating company.

Chris Clark, chief executive of Prosperity 24/7, said it is “simply incredible” what the local business community has achieved since the event began in 2015.

“We started Prosperity Day because we wanted to do something that made a difference. We could not have imagined the positive impact we’ve had on so many people’s lives,” he said. Mr Clark added that this year’s event will raise funds for two “incredible local charities”.

He said: “Many of our corporate teams have scores to settle after previous years, and will do so with a smile on their faces, while they give it their all for charity.”
