Two men stabbed on Jersey housing estate

TWO men have been taken to Hospital after suffering stab wounds on a St Saviour housing estate on Sunday evening.

The men – believed to be known to each other – required surgery and were today in the General Hospital in what was described as a stable condition.

They have both been arrested on suspicion of grave and criminal assault, ‘and other offences related to the incident’.

A States police statement said that two incidents took place in Wellington Park Estate on Sunday, an altercation at around 8pm was followed by a second incident at 10.30pm.

The area was closed to traffic while crime-scene investigators and search officers collect evidence – roads were later reopened.

House-to-house inquiries are also being conducted.

Anyone with any CCTV in the area, or with dash cam footage who was in that area

Any taxi drivers that attended Wellington Park Estate last night.
