TWO suspects have been identified and interviewed in relation to graffiti containing homophobic abuse that was sprayed on homes in St Helier last month.

In an update released by the States police, they said that the pair, both aged 12, were interviewed in the presence of their parents and that the case was to be referred to the Law Officers Department for a decision due to their age.

At the end of October six homes in and around the areas of Rouge Bouillon, Springfield and Haute Vallée School were sprayed with black paint.

The States police said that the graffiti included ‘homophobic abuse against the LGBTQ community and other abusive language’.
