All-time classic Super Smash Bros is coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year.
And it’s fair to say fans are a little bit excited after Nintendo released a 74-second teaser trailer for the game.

Details were released during a surprise Nintendo Direct presentation alongside other upcoming Switch updates and 3DS games.
Nintendo’s Yoshiaki Koizumi told fans “Actually… we have one more announcement,” and then the teaser played.

It’s not yet clear if it will be a port or a new game, but fans have their theories.
Nintendo pulled a ‘One More Thing’ to hype Smash Bros 2018.
I’m a Nintendo newbie. Would it pull that kind of stunt for a port? Or might it be a full, new game? #NintendoDirect

The longer I look at the trailer the more it looks like a new Smash Brothers. It says it’s rated RP, Link’s in his BOTW costume, and it’s just called Super Smash Brothers. If it was a port, they would’ve probably announce it being a port like they did with DKC Tropical Freeze.

Judging from BOTW Link and the ominous tune in the background ISNT a rendition of previous Smash Theme
This is probably NOT going to be a PORT#SuperSmashBros

The Nintendo Switch was launched in March last year, the Japanese firm’s first home console since 2012. It can be used in the home and remotely.
It went on to be named best console and product of the year at the annual EE Pocket-Lint Gadget Awards in London.
