The States police say that plastic bottles and cans were thrown between rival sets of supporters during the match – the 100th Muratti final – while up to 30 were ejected from the stadium and after the final whistle, the States police set up a cordon at the junction of Hilgrove Street and Halkett Street to prevent clashes between rival fans.
