The taxpayer-funded Enterprise Strategy – which is due to be published within weeks and aims to create the ‘high-value’ jobs in non-finance sectors over the next three years – was criticised by backbenchers at a meeting of the Economic Affairs Scrutiny panel.

Deputy Steve Luce, the panel chairman, and St Brelade Constable Steve Pallett questioned Economic Development Minister Alan Maclean for 90 minutes.
