The owners of the Château Plaisir at the north end of Five Mile Road want to build three homes on the site, which lies within the newly established Coastal National Park.

Plans for the houses have been drawn up by Tim Skudder Associates.

Different plans were put forward two years ago, but were rejected by then-Environment Minister Freddie Cohen who was concerned about the scale of the proposed buildings and their impact on the area.
