Two charges are against the club and two against players. Portuguese have been charged with causing the match to be abandoned, while a futher charge of misconduct against official Maurice De Andrade is also classified as a club charge.

Portuguese Club president Luis Vieira confirmed that Portuguese have received referee Ian Solomon’s report of incidents during the game and that they have 14 days to reply to the charges against them.

Vieira said: ‘We will deal with the report from the referee accordingly. We do not fully agree with the version of matters being reported and we will make that known in our reply.
