Celtics topple Warriors off top spot

Celtics came back from a first half deficit to beat Deerglen Warriors 69-61 in one of the most crucial games of the Cronus Basketball League last night.

Celtics, the reigning Island champions, thus replace Warriors at the top of the table.

Celtics were without three of their regular players for the clash at Langford with unbeaten Deerglen Warriors.

But captain Dave Middleton was justifiably confident beforehand that his team had enough strength and depth to secure victory and reclaim their league lead.
