Battle sponsor steps forward

The Economic Development Minister, Senator Philip Ozouf, this morning confirmed that he had received ‘a very positive approach’ from a commercial sponsor in the private sector.

He said that there was already a ‘strong States commitment’ to the parade and that his department were now looking to the business community to work with them.

However, he said he was not yet able to reveal who the potential sponsor was or whether he would be the sole sponsor of the event.
