In an autobiographical piece published in the JEP last week, BBC journalist Hamish Marett-Crosby said that a PSA test saved his life.

As a result of the test, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and has received effective treatment. It was also announced this week that the Bailiff, Sir Philip Bailhache, is recovering from the illness.
