SURFING – Tie at the top: Joe Baker won the third round of the AIB Laneez under-18 Challenge Cup on Saturday at the Watersplash with Nathan Elms taking second and Jake Elms finishing third.
These results meant that Baker and Nathan Elms shared the overall championship as they both finished the series with 2490 points.
Jake Powell finished second overall, on 2385 pts, and Jake Elms was third on 2241 pts.

THE LGU Bronze Medal and Anne Ramsden Trophy was won by Lesley Hill, at the Les Mielles Ladies’ Golf Club AGM awards, and not Gudrun Bjarnadottir as was published, based on incorrectly supplied information, last week.
