Telfer tops again: Sommerville Telfer continued his fine form to win the St Clement’s GC A Baird trophy yesterday.

Having won the club’s October monthly medal Telfer, playing off 14, won this Stableford with 45 points as Alex Thomson, also continuing great form, took second on 41.

Mitchell wins: Kenny Mitchell, 5 hcp, won the Samares Golf Society Mark Sumner competition yesterday at Les Mielles GC with 32 points.

Tom Brown, 6 hcp, was second on 31 pts and Colum Spillane, 10 hcp, took third on 30 pts.

Millenium Shield: Toni Rowles, 13 hcp, won the Demi Golf Society Millenium Shield on Saturday at St Clement’s GC with 38 pts.

SHOOTING – Atkins shoots to the top: Nick Atkins won his first trophy shoot yesterday for the Le Gresley Handicap Trophy yesterday in the Jersey Rifle Association’s final shoot of the year.
