The primary school received a welcome gift this week in the form of a brand new minibus. The 15 seater was a present from the Chefs Tenants of Grouville Common who wanted to strengthen their relationship with the school. The Chefs Tenants had previously sponsored a wildlife area for the school and it was during a chance conversation with Andy Labey, the Tenants management committee chairman, about the environmental project that the need for a school minibus was mentioned. The PTA had just started to fund-raise for a minibus so the Tenants decided to step in and purchase one. Headteacher Pam Pitman said it will be a welcome addition to the school.
