Having won both titles last year, the women’s doubles partnering Yorkshire’s Jenny Wallwork (Yorks) and the mixed with Dean George, from Hertfordshire, this year sees her paired with Gabby White in the women’s competition and Peter Mills in the mixed.
In both competitions she is seeded No 1, although most of the media attention will focus on last year’s singles winner, teenage sensation Michelle Cheung from Buckinghamshire.
Meanwhile there will be a new name on the men’s singles trophy board as last year’s winner, Andrew Ellis, has moved out of the age group – although fellow Yorkshireman Jamie Bonsels is top seed and expected to meet Hampshire’s Bruce Peake in the final.
Play starts at 10 am on Saturday and continues from 10 am on Sunday with the finals beginning at 2 pm.
