The Duke and Duchess of Sussex rubbed noses with Maori elders in a traditional greeting known as a hongi as they landed in New Zealand.

Harry and Meghan were welcomed by two elders, known as the Kuia and Kaumatua, during a ceremony at Government House in Wellington.

They later met the crowds during a walkabout at the National War Memorial.
