THE RNLI’s St Helier lifeboat helped tow a French motorboat to shore on Saturday.
The organisation received a mayday from the 25ft motorboat, it wrote on Facebook.
On the way, the crew was alerted to a sailing boat that had become entangled in fishing gear, but this was able to continue to Gorey independently.
When the RNLI got to the motorboat, they found someone “visibly suffering from seasickness” and there was no communication possible. The boat was towed into St Helier.
