Temps Passe WBA in Training 1974
Pictured are the West Bromwich Albion players in a training stint on the beach at St Brelade during their four-day stay in the Island in January 1974. Albion were at this time fifth in the Second Division table. This was the Albion’s second Jersey visit in 18 months and once again manager Don Howe was in charge. Watching Albion in training was Tower’s FA coach, Brian Beckett, who was with the club as an amateur in his early days.
