ISLANDERS are being encouraged to nominate an inspirational woman in Jersey who has made a difference for others.
Nominations have opened for the Soroptimist International Jersey’s 27th Inspirational Woman of the Year Award.
It will be awarded to a woman who has demonstrated selflessness, dedication, generosity or achievement, as well as a number of other criteria.
The award will be presented to the winner at an afternoon tea that will be held at the Savoy Hotel on Friday 19 June at 2.30pm.
There will be other inspiring woman from the community attending, as well as last years winner Kate Wright. Tickets cost £25.
