A 32-YEAR-OLD man has been accused of two grave and criminal assaults in two separate incidents.
Michael McBride appeared in the Magistrate’s Court charged with attacking a man with a bottle in October and punching and kicking another man in St Helier town centre on Monday.
He was also accused of damaging an advertising pole outside a bar and violently resisting arrest, also said to have happened on Monday.
The Magistrate, Bridget Shaw, ruled that the two alleged assaults were too serious for the Magistrate’s Court to deal with.
She remanded him in custody to appear for indictment in the Royal Court on 16 May.
