The Jersey Evening Post Town Criterium, which was established in 2009, lived up to its promise of being fast and furious as cyclists wound their way around the 1.2 mile track set up in the narrow town centre roads.
The elite men’s race was, fittingly, won by Islander Greg Mansell racing for Team UK Youth, and Hannah Walker, from Matrix Fitness Racing Academy, beat Jersey’s Lauryn Thérin in a sprint finish for the elite women’s title.
