Following weeks of speculation, producers have confirmed that a film adaptation of the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society will be shot in the island.
It is believed that film crews will spend at least five weeks in the island shooting outside scenes, with the rest of the film being shot in the UK.
The announcement comes just weeks after the film’s director, Kenneth Branagh, visited the island to scout out possible filming locations.
