He was Christopher Collingwood, of Jersey, and was racing in the motorcycle event organised by the Classic and Vintage Motor Racing Club when the accident happened at around 5pm on Saturday.
He was treated at the scene by medical staff before being taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of the General Hospital where he later died.
The States Police, assisted by other agencies, are investigating the accident.
