With their new show, acrobats, tumblers, clowns, jugglers and trapeze artists of the Moscow State Circus mesmerized audiences.
Entitled Babushkin Sekret, the show was inspired by a Russian legend called The 12 Chairs, which followed a clown named Valerik on a fantastical journey to find his family’s lost fortune which was hidden after the revolution.
Many of the acts towered above the Gloucester Hall, including Yana Alievia on a revolving aerial chandelier and the Whirlwind Rubsovsm acrobats, who catapulted themselves at breakneck speed.
