Locally owned Kodak Express, the trading name for PCS Jersey, will vacate its premises in the Co-op’s Don Street store at the end of the year.
But it will continue in another form, as proprietor Clive Coutanche is moving what is left of what was in its heyday a booming business to Framing and Art in New Street.
Mr Coutanche said that the increasing use of digital photography and the internet had made life more difficult for his company. ‘Rents are just not affordable any more,’ he said.
