If the weather stays favourable, John Bouteloup (54) and John Searson (49) will set off from Le Braye at 2.30 am tomorrow with the intention of powering their two-man canoe non-stop for 100 nautical miles (200 km).
They aim to paddle around Corbière, along the south coast, out around the Ecréhous, up towards Alderney and around the Casquets rocks, down the west coast of Alderney, over to Guernsey, around the Hanois lighthouse and back to Jersey.
