Jim Holland, who was head of maths at the school and a Year 7 form tutor, collapsed suddenly at the school yesterday morning and died an hour later in hospital.
Tributes have been paid to the 40-year-old, who had a pre-existing heart condition and was not in a lesson when he was taken ill. Special counsellors have been brought in to support staff and students at the school.
