JERSEY Airport’s arrivals hall building will be reverting back to its 1930s look after Environment Minister Freddie Cohen approved the demolition of its top two floors.
Senator Cohen yesterday agreed that the two floors, which partially obscure the new control tower’s view of the runway, should be knocked down. Parts of the second and third floor will also be partially demolished.
At the public ministerial meeting at Church House, Planning officer Lawrence Davies recommended the scheme for approval.
