Tesson Mill and the Rozel Bar and Restaurant were worst hit, with both properties being severely flooded in the early hours. Tesson Mill was flooded for the second time this year as more than two feet of water poured into the building.
And the Rozel Bar and Restaurant and several other properties in the village were hit by nearly a foot of water as the area flooded for the fourth time this year. First Tower, Trinity and parts of St Helier were also badly affected.
Transport and Technical Services crews – who last week battled to keep the roads clear of snow and ice – received 21 reports of flooding yesterday morning. They also received four reports of landslides, including a major slip on a road at St Catherine.
