The funerals of Bruno Lesage and Christophe Toanen, the two fishermen whose bodies were recovered, will take place in private on Saturday. The search for the four other missing crew members was called off last night. The sole survivor of the sinking, 45-year-old Portuguese national David Dourado-Marques, clung to a string of floats for two and a half hours with a 19-year-old Frenchman, it emerged yesterday. Both men had no lifejackets and were wearing only underclothes. They were asleep in their bunks when the P’tite Julie began sinking in rough seas.
