How much land would be swallowed up?
Share this:
From Rosalie Le Caudey.
RECENTLY there has been talk of bringing in a third supermarket in order to bring prices down. Tesco’s name has been mentioned.
Tesco is renowned for the huge areas of land it gobbles up. With our green belt already being eyed up for housing, how much more of our precious land will that monster want to swallow?
And having swallowed it, will it be found that prices have actually been reduced, or shall we have sold our birthright for a mess of pottage?
