In a new move to form a partnership between the prison and employers, the governor, Steve Guy-Gibbens, invited a number of representatives from companies to tour the prison this week and to consider playing a part in reducing offending rates. He told them that if prisoners were discharged without a job they would have difficulty in supporting themselves and their families and would be more likely to reoffend.
