An application was made for the parish to support a development of 27 first-time-buyer homes and 24 sheltered housing apartments on field 1248 and ten houses – which would not be for first-time buyers – on part of the site at La Pouquelaye which includes Channel Television. Both sites, which are in the green zone, were identified in the 2002 Island Plan as being earmarked for reconsideration for housing or sheltered accommodation.
