A 49-YEAR-OLD man who sexually abused a child over a ten-year period and went on the run after being found out appeared in the Royal Court on Friday to hear the date of his sentence.
Richard Louis Romeril is to be sentenced for the offences on the afternoon of 8 October.
Romeril (49) was found guilty of ten offences, including two attempted rapes, after a six-day trial which ended on Tuesday.
He remains in custody.
