JERSEY RFC’s No.8 George Willmott sprinted over in the corner during the final minute to score his second try and complete a dominant 34-15 victory against Reading RFC.

The Islanders scored six tries in total to make it two bonus point wins in a row, the perfect way to start their Regional 2 South Central campaign as they hunt for back-to-back promotions.

Hooker Jack MacFarlane, winger Eryj Swiech, replacement Ewan Davies and second rower Cameron Halliwell all scored in a game played under incredible 34 degrees heat, and humidity, on Saturday afternoon.

Reading tighthead Josh Nicol scored for the home-side, who also grabbed a penalty-try due to the islanders high penalty count, with Jersey RFC suffering three sin-bins in total.
