JERSEY RFC will begin their 2023/24 Regional 2 South Central campaign at home against Witney.
Myles Landick’s side were unstoppable in their first outing in the English pyramid – winning the Counties 1 Hampshire season title and a 100% record – following the split of the professional and amateur arms of Jersey Reds at the beginning of the 2022-23 campaign.
As a result of their promotion, Jersey RFC will be entering the sixth-tier of English rugby and will be hopeful of another successful campaign having swept aside all challengers last time out including claiming the Siam Cup last month.
They will start their season at home against a Witney side which finished fifth in the Regional 2 South Central last season before playing Reading a week later in the first away trip of the season.
The end-of-season run-in appears, on paper at least, to be potentially tricky with a home match against Newbury, who finished third last season, on 16 March followed by a trip to the side which finished second, Tottonians.
The reverse fixture against Witney will close out the season.
